Shoes are clothing or accessories?

I'm sure about how can I classify shoes as clothing or accessories. In my point, I think shoes should classify as accessories because it can easily be taken off. However, after I research more information of this topic. I found so many answers someone say shoes are classified as clothing, because it can cover and protect our feet. Then I find more information someone consider it as accessories. That's why I'm still not sure I should classify shoes to clothing or accessories. I would like you guys to hare your opinions and give me some more of this information about how to classify shoes.

In my opinion, shoes are clothes because they are necessary items for protecting feet. Accessory are unnecessary items if you won't wear them. On the other hand, clothes are needed items for humans. Humans need to protect their feet from bacteria and dangerous things such as stones and sticks. So, shoes are definitely clothes.

Of course, shoes are clothing. We wear shoes to protect our feet, just like we wear shirts or pants to protect and cover our bodies. I don't think shoes are accessories because we have to wear them. Anyway, shoes can make you look cute or cool.

In my opinion I think shoes are clothing. We wear it to protect our feet. Accessories for me it’s optional. You will wear it or not it depends on your look and your style at that time. But clothing is not optional, we need to wear it to protect our body.

I think shoes are clothing because you need to wear them. I interpret accessories as the things that you can wear or cannot wear when you go outside so the shoes are clothing. However, we cannot deny the fact that nowadays shoes are the stuff that are involved with fashion. After the first funcion is clothing but after that it works as accessories as well, but the first of it is clothing anyway.

For me, I think shoes are clothing more than accessories. When I think of the word 'accessories', it will be about necklaces, jewelry, or rings. Shoes will be put on our foot and prevent from dirtiness. So, I think shoes are clothing because we put it on ourselves and wear it.

I choose "shoes are clothing" for sure, they’re essential. If you walk around Thailand without shoes, it might feel like walking on fire. But for accessories, you can choose to wear them or not. If it’s just for appearance, they don’t serve much of a practical purpose.

I think shoes are both clothing and accessories. It depends on the aim of the owner who wears it. If they have to wear it because it is a rule that they have to follow, maybe it is clothing but if they just buy the shoes that they like and wear it just for fashion, maybe it is an accessory. For me, I also love to buy shoes with many kinds of it to wear for fashion so I might prefer shoes to be accessories.

Personally, I usually dress simply. If I'm just staying in my room, I'll wear a t-shirt and shorts. But if I go out, I usually wear a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers because I feel that it's convenient for doing activities. As for accessories, I usually just wear a watch. Sometimes I might wear a necklace, but not very often because I'm a person who gets irritated easily and doesn't like to wear a lot of accessories.

In my perspective I think all of things that we wear I think it would be accessories including shoes. Every single thing which is on ourselves whether are shirts, hats, trouser, even shoes. I consider it is accessories more than a clothing because those things enchant your personality.

In my opinion, I think shoes is clothing more than accessories. Everyone have to wear shoes before go outside, so I think it would be clothing. When I about accessories, I'll think about the things that you can add to make your outfit more attrative such as hats, belts, gloves, bracelets, rings, piercings etc. So I think shoes isn't in the list of accessories.

In my point of view, shoes are part of clothing. Because I consider clothes to be things that we wear every day to stay home or go out. If you go out, one thing you can't miss is shoes.And in the jewelry section, I think it's the choice of dressing. You can wear it or not.

Wow interesting question! I don’t think abt this question before. Uhm maybe it’s a clothing. In my opinion, clothing it’s an important thing of our life but accessories is an item that made us be confident in ourselves. So I think shoes is important and I put it in the clothing category.

In my opinion, I think shoes is a part of clothing. Because shoes are necessary as an outfit. And also, it will look weird if you wear everything except shoes. And shoes is used to protect your feet. So that's why shoes are important.
