What is the starting point for interest in Western music?

I am not sure if it was Justin Bieber or One Direction that make me into Western music. I think I started to know One Direction by seeing them on TV and at that time we had to use a sim card to surf the net. I always search for their songs on youtube to see them. On the other hand, I had the era of my life when I really enjoyed Justin Bieber’s music. At that time I also started getting know Taylor Swift as well. I mean, I have heard her name and listened to her music for a long time, but not seriously.
Ps. One Direction is still my favorite band, and I really want them to come back. However, it is based on their comfort. I can wait for as long as it takes, as long as I don't die first. 5555

I start interest in weastern music because my father like to listen to weastern music so much. He always sing songs and open the songs in the morning. The song that I remember that my father open is 'My heart will go on'. I really love this song so much, and it was my first english song that I participated insinging contest when I was 9 years old.

I’m starting interest in western music because of my father. When I was young, my father liked to play western songs in the car while he was driving and absorb them. “Take me home, Country road” is one of the song that my father likes to listen and I can sing by involuntary.

When I was 13 years old, I mostly listened to Thai songs on Joox application. The app also recommended the western song such as closer of the chainsmoker that was very popular at that eras. From that reason, I became interested in western music.

I have listened to Western music since I was young because my mom she is a big fan of Whitney Houston. Even though I listen to a lot to Western music but It's not my favor. Since two years ago, I found my favorite artist and song 'Back to Black' by Amy Winehouse. I addicted to her voice and I started to listen to her songs and the other Western music.

Yeah, me too! My start point listening to music is when I heard the song “Baby” by Justin Bieber, then I keep listening to his music! Then I found a lot of amazing songs from amazing artists like Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Adale, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift! I found Justin Bieber song since I was 8 years old. Another reason that makes me listen to western music is the song “Let it go” from Frozen!5555 it always been my childhood favorite song!

For me, the song named Sugar by Maroon 5 brings me to start listening to Western music. When I was studying in primary school, my brother gave me a flash drive that had songs in it and said just take it and you will love it. It's kind of a weird sentence, isn't it, lol. In that flash drive, there were Thai songs and only one Western song, and yes, it was Sugar by Maroon 5. Since then, I have started to love and listen to Western music.
