What is your favorite subject in EN major? Why?

There are so many classes that I like in our major. I think it’s interesting all of our courses for 4 years. Nevertheless, if I have to choose I prefer Composition class is my favorite one. Why? The reason why I choose this subject because I think I am good at writing. I always got the extra points from this class. Since I have learned with Aj. Pong, and we have to write a journal or daily every week. I usually get 2/1 scores. I know that I an not good for grammar, but I tried to write it as best as I could. Although I didn’t get an A from this class, I missed just 2-3 points, but I have learned new things from this class so much. I can use the knowledge to apply in my writing skills as I do now.

In my opinion, I like Oral2 the most, because I always feel happy when I get to choose my topics to speak about. I also feel challenged when I have to speak in the public,and it makes me think ‘Wow, I can do it’, which amazes me. Moreover, this subject helps bring out and develop my speaking skills.

There are two subjects that I like the most from our major including Reading 3 and Phonology. For Reading 3, I really into the teaching style of T.Nut because she can make reading, which might boring for many people, easy and an efficient way to find answers through reading. For Phonology, I can practice how to pronounce a sentence in the correct way, and it makes me feel more like I'm a native speaker.

This post make me think for a while. If you asked me which subject I don't like I can answer really fast like a flash haha. My favorite subject is phycologist which study at the second year. I like about the content of subject that encourage me to understand about student behaviors. I also like that way T. Ar teach, her class is like a safe space to share your mind.

My favorite subjects in EN major are Phonetics and Phonology. I like both of them. I think they are very challenging subjects. At the moment they were so hard for me to understand but when I passed these subjects I found out they are interesting subjects for me. I want to continue to learn about them if I have time.

For me, I like listening class because I did better than another subject. This class is very challenging for me because I know that I’m not good at listening. When I study this class it was relaxed because of T.praise, she was very calm at teaching and she’s always encouraged us, it was a great moment for me.

This is very hard question. My favorite subject is Phonetics. Even when I was studying this subject I was very suffer, but when I passed it then I can realize its importance. Phonetics is a very crucial when I am an English teacher because it establish the foundation of the sound in every word so that I can pronounce it correctly. It was tough subject for me to learn at that time because it was a new thing and I just learnt some part of it when I was in high school. This subject build the new version of myself because in the past I always wanted a spoon-fed knowledge from the teacher, but when I was studying this course I had to do or find my own understanding without much help from the teacher so it made me very strong.

For me, Phonetics is the best subject to learn because it’s not pressured me that much like others subject, and it’s also very fun to learn about it. I learned phonetics when I was a primary student, but at that time I didn’t know what it was, and it was really hard to learn, so I didn’t pay attention that much. At first, it was quite hard to understand, but when I read it again it was easier and more enjoyable to learn than other EN major subjects.

I love reading because I’m a bookworm and I read many books as much as I can. I read every books that I love and sometimes I read other subjects like, mathematics or science. But the main books that I read is about English like, Comics or something like that.

I like the Vocabulary class the most. Because it's very simple. Teacher Peter gave very easy marks. Sometimes he also draws and paints pictures. I am a person who likes to draw and paint. It makes me very happy. So I like Vocabulary class the most.

The subject that I like the most in this major is phonetic and phonology because it is the subject that helps me read English more fluently and I could know about the sign and the sound of each letter. I also know how to pronounce each word correctly and it makes me feel grateful for it. I love to study the subject and I wish I could learn more about it. However, I think I should reconsider about learning it again.

My favorite is Oral 2 becasue I have a topic to speak every week and it very fun for example demonstrate we bring a material and ingredient to show how to make it or some week we have to write a script for a ceremony or to give an information.
