If you have a close friend with depression, how would you help your friend?

- Would you choose to comfort your friend or leave him?

- How much did your words of encouragement help him?

- Did he feel uncomfortable seeing you as his emotional support?

I used to have a friend with severe depression, but when I was with her, I felt down with her. But I managed to handle myself, and I hoped that she would get better.

I will stay beside his/her. Also, I will always listen to his/her problems. I will remind him/her that you are not alone. I’m always here for you. If anything I could help, just tell me. I’m willing to help.

If I have a close friend with depression, I would first try to be there for them by listening without judgment. I’d encourage them to talk about their feelings if they feel comfortable. I would also offer support by spending time with them, whether it's going out or just hanging out at home. It’s important to remind them that they are not alone and suggest seeking professional help if they need it. Showing my care and understanding can make a big difference.

For me, I will listened to her stories and let her talk whatever that her want to talk after that I will ask some questions to make her think about it Sometimes I will give some advice to her but I will let her know that it’s my opinion and I don’t know it will right or not only her can make decisions for herself .

I would comfort my friends, if he/she has depression. I will do anything that I can to save them from that's feeling, because I have lost one of my best friends once and I don't want to be like that time again. My friend always say she love me and I am the best friend of her. However, I can't save her from this awful sickness. That's why she has gone forever, I really miss her it's been a long time since that she gone day but I remember that moment all too well. I miss her

At first I would try listen to them.I think it’s important to let them talk and not judge.I would also tell them they are not alone and that I’m here for them.Maybe, I will ask if they want to hang out or do something fun.
